MARCELLO AGNOLI
Born in Genoa but Milan by adoption, he specializes in Commercial and Corporate Law, with particular experience in Banking and Financial Law.
In 1966 he began his collaboration with the Pavia e Ansaldo firm in Milan where he worked and held the role of managing partner for over twenty years, until 2005 when he left the firm and founded Agnoli Bernardi e Associati.
In 2008 he became an honorary member of Studio Pirola Pennuto Zei e Associati following the incorporation of Agnoli Bernardi and Associates.
In 2012 he joined the Agnoli e Giuggioli firm founded by his daughter Caterina, as Senior of Counsel.
In 2021 he began a collaboration, together with his colleague and daughter Caterina, with colleagues Aldo Bruzzone and Gianemilio Genovesi, implementing the Milanese team of Studio Agnoli Bruzzone Genovesi & Associati.
He has extensive experience in the fields of M&A, Private Equity, Corporate Finance, Insurance and Real Estate. He has represented many Italian and foreign companies as well as banking and financial institutions.
He was, and still is, a member of the boards of directors of various Italian companies (including listed companies), including: Alcoa Italia S.p.a., Dupont Italia S.p.a., Aviva Italia S.p.a. (Aviva Group), Permasteelisa S.p.a., Classis Capital SIM S.p.a., Governance Consulting S.r.l., Snaitech S.p.a., Cassa di Risparmio di Asti S.p.a., Vallesi S.p.a.
Since 1997 he has been licensed to practice as a foreign lawyer in the State of New York.
He is also a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and of the Non Executive Directors (NED Community)
